Your gently used unwanted items are needed to help in the Sixth Annual Angels in the Attic Rummage Sale
to be held Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25.
The Angel Museum of Beloit is planning for its Sixth Annual fund-raiser, Angels in the Attic Community-wide Rummage Sale. This fund-raiser will help the museum sustain its day-to-day operation. It will be held at the north end of the Eclipse Center – in the old Kohl’s Grocery Store.
In planning for this community event, the museum is looking for tax deductible rummage donations including: furniture, appliances, sports items, household items, antiques, clothes; adult and children‘s clothes and other gently used un-wanted items taking up needed space in closets, garages and basements.
All donations are tax deductible and can be brought to the north side of the Eclipse Center in the old Kohl’s Grocery Store every day from September 7th to September 20th between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm – 4pm.
Museum volunteers will also pick up items. For information or to schedule pickup, contact Bev Melton at 608-364-4667.

The purpose of this event is to showcase one of Beloit’s most sought after attractions located in a historic old Catholic Church scheduled for demolition in the early 1990’s. The Angel Museum story is unique and an experience like no other in the world. Since over 600 black angels have been donated to the museum by Oprah, the museum is showing its appreciation of the donation by inviting Oprah to visit her angels before she leaves the area.
